For episode 8, we covered the harrowing case of Belle Gunness. In the 1870 a young Norwegian woman set sail for America. She would move in with her old sister, promptly looking for love. She would meet her first husband and try as they might, they would not blessed with biological children. But no matter, Belle’s heart was large enough to room several orphans throughout her life.

Sadly, tragedy was never far from Belle’s heels. Between house fires and mysterious deaths Belle had worn the path to her insurance broker bare. Her intuition was unrivaled by even the Oracles of Greece, for just as tragedy nipped at Belle’s behind, Luck would never let go of her hand.
